Fabric

Cotton is a soft, breathable natural fibre derived from the seed of the cotton plant. As one of the oldest textiles in the world, second only to linen and wool, cotton is beloved for its versatility, comfort, and timeless appeal. Highly absorbent and perfectly receptive to colour, it is ideal for warm weather, offering a lightweight, airy feel that keeps the body cool.  Woven in Italy, 100% Egyptian Cotton.

Maintenance

Wash by hand or machine at 40°. Avoid temperatures above 60°, which may affect the vibrancy of the colour and the integrity of the fibres. Treat stains gently with a suitable remover, apply without rubbing and allow it to rest before washing. For dark colours, always test on a discreet area first.
Delicate cottons such as gauze or voile should be placed in a mesh laundry bag to prevent snagging and damage. Air-drying preserves the fibre, while a short tumble-dry at a low temperature enhances softness. However, frequent tumble drying may weaken the fabric over time. For a crisp, smooth finish, iron at high temperature.

Detergents

Use colour-appropriate detergent. Avoid fabric softeners as they may affect texture and absorbency.

Colour

Each garment has been dyed and finished using artisanal processes that create a unique, softly weathered look. Subtle variations and irregularities in tone are part of the character of the piece and are not to be considered flaws.
