Yes, they are. All our down and feather products are properly washed, de-dusted, sterilised, and manufactured under strict hygienic conditions. Allergies are typically triggered by poor processing — and that’s never the case with us.
We follow the best-practice regulations of the European Down and Feather Association (EDFA). Every single bale of feather or down we import is fully traceable, ethically sourced, and comes with official documentation verifying its cleaning, fumigation, and ethical compliance. It’s a sophisticated process — and we proudly follow the rules.
What’s the difference between down and feather?
- Down: The soft cluster beneath the bird’s feathers, designed to regulate body temperature. It offers lightness, loft, and thermal regulation.
- Feather: The quilled, structured outer layer that helps the bird fly. Heavier, less insulative, and more prone to making you sweat.

TOG is a British measure of duvet warmth, ranging from 1 (light) to 15 (very warm).
It tells you how warm a duvet will be — but not how well it will regulate your body temperature (for that, choose high-down content).
Use TOG as a guide:
