I didn’t start this brand because I was looking for bed linen.
I started it out of a deep obsession with fabric, beauty, and the thrill of discovery and travel. From sourcing exquisite mills and fabrics across Italy to refining every detail in our Johannesburg studio, this has always been about more than textiles.

It’s about creating something real.
Something lasting.
An experience.
Made with heart by beautiful people for you to love and enjoy.

For over 16 years, I’ve dedicated myself to this craft of curating, manufacturing, and perfecting the quiet art of creating beautiful, well-made pieces of beauty. Walking into the factory each morning, watching what we’ve built come to life, fills me with joy.

Starch Living is deeply personal. It’s tactile. It’s considered.

We use luxurious materials such as Egyptian cotton, Normandy linen, Far Eastern silk, and precious cashmere.
